Final Stretch!

The work at the pre-work at the building sites is progressing nicely...photos to follow!

Here is an outline of the day tomorrow:

-Registration will start 8 am
-On line broadcast will start at 9 am

LUNCH for volunteers is scheduled for 11:30 to 12:30

2 BUSES WILL BE TRAVELLING FROM SITE TO SITE FROM 10 AM UNTIL 3 PM SO YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE PROGRESS OF THE OTHER SITES & PITCH IN ALL AROUND TRENT HILLS!!!

OPENING CEREMONIES will be held at:

• Hastings at 1:30 pm (volunteer photo at 1 pm)




• Campbellford at 2:30 pm (volunteer photo at 2 pm)




• Warkworth at 3:30 pm (volunteer photo at 3 pm)

CELEBRATION BBQ TO FOLLOW AT THE WARKWORTH LEGION 5pm to 8 pm

YOU KNOW THAT SAYING THAT MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK....SAME THING GOES FOR TOOLS :-)

A few things that we need:
hard rakes (10 or 15)
wheelbarrows (8 or 10)
shovels (10 - 15)
4' levels
2' levels
wrench or ratchet set s(9/16", 1/2", 3/4")
long extension cords (heavy duty is best)
tape measures

**we will have a "label table" where all tools/equipment will be tagged to ensure that your tools are returned***

We would love to have all the volunteers pre registered on line ASAP!!
We will be sending out email updates and the waiver form that needs to be signed by all volunteers on Thursday....so please make sure you have clicked on the "Join The Effort" icon.

They are sending out a request to go to indicate which community you will be volunteering on Build Day. This will help the committee organize a bit more as the big day gets closer!!!
